Robinette - SOLD

I have had fun painting these little birds this week.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Just Hanging Out - SOLD

This cute little robin's reference photo came from Michabel and found in Morguefile.   I am painting a series of little birds and find them so full of personality, color and fun.  These are all 6" x 6" oils on panel board.  I love the way the paint lays on these boards, however it seems you must be very decisive about your strokes because they show up very dominate.

Robin's Nest -Gifted

One of my friends asked for a painting to honor the memory of her friend.  She is in the process of furnishing a room in a shelter that will be called Robin's Nest.  I chose a robin who is singing.

Round Robin - SOLD

I spent 5 days studying painting at the Sarah Carlisle Towery Art Colony.  I was so inspired by the wonderful artist, Peggy Kroll Roberts and also my friends and fellow artists.  We painted every day from 9 - 5 and learned a great deal - I hope to incorporate the information in new paintings.  Thanks for visiting!
