Every year I donate to the ArtCard project to benefit the Oasis counseling for Women & Children. This is a non-profit organization in Birmingham whose mission is to help women and children heal, grow and overcome difficult life circumstances by providing affordable mental health counseling and innovative educational programs in a respectful and nurturing environment. This year the ArtCard event will be held on June 7th at 5:30. Their location is 1900 14th Avenue South. There will be more than 100 pieces of art available along with live music and complimentary food and beverages.
