I am so honored when a friend ask me to paint for them. This was especially special to me as this is the daughter of my friend's husband. This young lady is actually in her 20's but my friend had a portrait done of her when she was around 2 years old and wanted to present it to her husband on Father's Day. What a wonderful idea and great present that signifies what Father's Day is all about. I have just finished this painting so I find that I have to "live with it" for a couple of days and critique myself to make sure I have done the best job possible.
