Strolling

The reference photo from Anita Johnston caught my eye.  I am never quite sure what reaches out to my heart to make me want to paint a particular thing but in this particular picture I liked the way the couple is strolling along.   The lady has her purse on her shoulder and her arm in his.  I also like the way the man seems to be engaged and listening.  (Always good and sometimes unusual) I am also planning a trip to Italy in August to paint with Trisha Adams and this scene is actually from Italy.

I love Trisha's work.  Check her out,  you can find your website at https://trishaadams.com
