I am at the beach painting and I could not wait to finish this painting from a photo reference from Jenna Dyar. Jenna took this photo of a little girl playing soccer on the beach in Costa Rica. The little girl is losing her bathing suit and Jenna said about one minute after her photo the bottoms disappeared. It is very sunny today and the water is very blue and teal and viridian. This photo was taken in the evening or on a day when the water was not so full of color so the challenge for me is to tone it down so that it will not compete with the little girl which is the focus.
This is a 12" x 24" gallery wrapped canvas. The sides are 1 1/2" and painted. Price is $250. If interested you can email me at paintingbythelake@gmail.com
