I cannot remember ever painting a painting for someone and having the strong sense that God wanted to send someone a message like I did when painting this. It was very clear to me that the painting had nothing to do with me but just that my brush was being used. I certainly do not want to sound overly spiritual because I am more aware than anyone that I am not that. But I am honored that I could paint a picture for my friend who just lost her husband very prematurely and to give her the promise found in John 14:18 "I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you."
